Ich bringe über zwei Jahrzehnte Erfahrung an der Schnittstelle von Wissenschaft, Lehre und angewandter Softwareentwicklung mit. Nach meinem Diplom in Informatik (2002) und der Promotion in Theoretischer Informatik (2006) war ich in Forschung und Lehre an Universitäten in Deutschland, Japan und Spanien tätig – ein Hintergrund, der mir nicht nur fachliche Tiefe, sondern auch internationale Perspektive vermittelt hat.
I bring more than two decades of experience at the intersection of science, teaching and applied software development. After earning my diploma in computer science (2002) and a doctorate in theoretical computer science (2006), I worked in research and teaching at universities in Germany, Japan and Spain – a background that has given me not only technical depth but also an international perspective.
Seit 2024 bin ich als freiberuflicher Dozent aktiv, mit Schwerpunkt auf Python und den Zertifizierungsprogrammen PCAP und PCPP des Python Institute. Ergänzt wird diese Tätigkeit durch das IBM Data Science Professional Certificate sowie die Python-Zertifizierung PCAP (2025), die meine praktischen Kenntnisse in Datenwissenschaft und moderner Softwareentwicklung belegen. Ein wachsender Fokus meiner Arbeit liegt auf Künstlicher Intelligenz: Ich entwickle KI-gestützte Anwendungen, setze Large Language Models – insbesondere Claude – produktiv ein und begleite Unternehmen und Lernende beim Einstieg in dieses Feld. Dabei verbinde ich akademische Präzision mit praxisnaher Vermittlung.
Since 2024 I have been working as a freelance instructor, focusing on Python and the PCAP and PCPP certification programs of the Python Institute. This is complemented by the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate and the PCAP Python certification (2025), which demonstrate my practical knowledge of data science and modern software development. A growing focus of my work is artificial intelligence: I build AI-powered applications, put large language models – especially Claude – to productive use, and guide companies and learners as they get started in this field, combining academic precision with hands-on teaching.

Artificial intelligence is not a buzzword to me, but a practical tool. I build AI-powered applications, integrate large language models – especially Claude by Anthropic – into real workflows, and help companies and individuals get started in this field.
Bei der Entwicklung setze ich auf Spec-driven Development mit OpenSpec: Anforderungen werden vorab als präzise, versionierte Spezifikationen festgehalten, bevor KI-Agenten den Code dazu generieren. Das schafft eine gemeinsame, überprüfbare Grundlage zwischen Mensch und KI, reduziert Missverständnisse und Nacharbeit – und beschleunigt dadurch die Entwicklung spürbar, ohne an Codequalität einzubüßen.
In development, I rely on spec-driven development with OpenSpec: requirements are captured upfront as precise, versioned specifications before AI agents generate the code for them. This creates a shared, verifiable foundation between humans and AI, reduces misunderstandings and rework – and noticeably speeds up development without sacrificing code quality.

It starts with a review of your existing processes and systems. Building on that, I develop an AI agent prototype together with you, which is then expanded step by step – often using spec-driven development – into a production-ready solution.
